First of August 1998 Mr. Dipl. Ing. Hans Wagner established
the private company IVT, Industrial Vision Technologies. The
foundation of IVT took place due to the take over of the
division AOI (Automatic Optical Inspection) of the company
PTS GmbH i.K. Originally this division was sold in the frame-
work by restructuring measures of the company Grundig AG
in 1996. Main product of the division AOI was the solder joint
inspection system VIPRO.

The company IVT was created first with the goal of support-
ing the existing customers of PTS GmbH. Short and direct
communication with our customers became part of our busi-
ness philosophy. Due to the rising demand it was necessary
to focus to the development and production of new systems.

In order to fulfill these new requirements, the establishment
of the company IVT Industrial Vision Technologies GmbH
followed in May 2001.

IVT offers not only inline and offline test and rework equipment,
but also customised turnkey solutions. All this is made possible
with the Know How of the employees and their manager, one of
the pioneers in solder joint inspection.
